The Eyes in Your Back

At BBB Cycling in the Netherlands, we have worked hard in recent years to significantly improve both the design and the functionality of our lights. The result: our new bike lights are light years ahead of its time. The Signal Radar is undoubtedly our most advanced light yet. Below we have listed the main advantages for you. Discover for yourself why the Signal Radar can truly be considered to be Light Years Ahead.

Signal Radar object detection

Object Detection up to almost 200m!

See up to almost 200 meters behind you with the Signal Radar. The radar recognizes up to 8 different vehicles within a 35° angle. These also appear directly on your navigation screen (smartphone or bike computer). This way, you won't be caught by surprise anymore. You can also switch on an audible signal. Upon detection, the taillight immediately gives a warning via a single flash. Subsequently, as the object approaches, the taillight switches to a continuous flash mode, making you maximally visible to traffic approaching from behind.

ANT+ and Bluetooth Connection

The Signal Radar effortlessly connects to your cycling computer via ANT+. You can also pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth. Be sure to sse the Cannondale app (for iOS and Android) to optimally utilize the full functionality of the Radar.

Signal Radar audio warning

Audible Warning

Thanks to the built-in speaker, the Signal Radar can also be used as a stand-alone light, without connecting to a smartphone or cycling computer. The speaker (85 dB) provides an audible signal when an object approaches. The audible signal can be easily switched off.

Battery Indicator

Thanks to the battery indicator, you don't have to worry about your Signal Radar suddenly failing. Five LED lights ((white colored) on the side of the Signal Radar display the current battery status in real-time. A sixth LED light (in green) indicates whether the speaker signal is switched on or is set on mute.

6 Different Light Modes

The Signal Radar is equipped with 6 different light modes, including 2 Steady (non-flash) modes, 1 Radar Only mode (where the taillight is off), and 3 Flash modes. The unique Peloton Mode is designed not to blind cyclists behind you, while still keeping you clearly visible to other traffic.

Long Battery Life

A fully charged battery of the Signal Radar lasts up to 14 hours. The flash modes are the most energy-efficient and thus provide the longest battery life. Charging is a breeze via USB-C.
