Size guide
Chainrings are identified by the amount of teeth they have, which directly affects the gearing ratio and overall pedalling experience. Choosing the appropriate chainring size requires considering your current setup and factors such as terrain, riding style, and personal goals.
A small chainring (one with a low amount of teeth) makes pedalling lighter or easier uphill but the distance you travel per full pedal stroke is lower. A bigger chainring (one with a high amount of teeth) makes pedalling harder but you do travel further per full pedal stroke. In general, more teeth means faster but heavier and less teeth means lighter but slower. If you go way bigger as your current setup, you have to check what the maximum space for your frame is. You can find the right chainring for your needs by selecting it on the amount of teeth on the chainring. You can just count them and decide based on your wishes.
